Due to the look of the inclusions this stone has been refereed to as: Venus Hair, Pencils of Venus, Cupid’s Net, Goddess’s Tresses and even Love Arrows. Less well known is a variety called tourmalinated quartz which, instead of golden rutile, has black or dark green tourmaline crystals.

Green Tourmaline attracts luck, success, abundance and prosperity. It inspires creativity, and may be used to project, create and manifest one's goals.

Rutile is said to intensify the metaphysical properties of its host crystal and to enhance one's understanding of difficult situations.

Originating from Madagascar , the Green Tourmaline measure  3.5cm x1cm  in colour.

Formerly called fluorspar, Its name is derived from the Latin word "fluo" which means to flow.
fluorite has a wide range of colors including yellow, blue, pink purple and green. It is an interesting and beautiful stone because often more than one color occurs in a single stone.
